Brendan McNamara is a graphic designer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from Keene State College of the New Hampshire University system in May 2012. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Information, Design, and Technology (IDT) from the State University of New York (SUNY) Polytechnic Institute in July 2019.

 

Mr. McNamara began his professional career by working as a graphic design assistant for Stevie Projects, an advertising and marketing design firm based in New York City. Clients of Stevie Projects who Mr. McNamara worked with included: The Trevor ProjectThe CreateryFuture SticksManhattan Behavioral Center and Matt Kepnes E-book series. Next, Mr. McNamara worked for 2 years at  CAD BLU, Inc. in their marketing department as a full-time in house graphic designer. CAD BLU is a state-of-the arts consulting and service company that offers digital design, 3-D printing solutions, and software systems configured to meet the needs of technology manufacturers, such as Dental Laboratories, producing high-quality dental implants, and high-end jewelry manufacturers, such as Tiffany. While at CAD BLU, Mr. McNamara developed a user interface (UI) for the 3D Factory division.

 

Mr. McNamara next worked for a non-profit organization, where he designed web and print material for the Riverdale YM-YWHA. Some of his tasks included creating animated gifs, motion graphic videos, infographics and artwork for social media. Additionally. he developed the 30+ page course catalogue  according to JCC branding guidelines and managed the direct mail campaigns for the membership office. Following this position,  Mr. McNamara served as the in-house designer for EME Group, a NYC-based engineering and architecture firm, and was responsible for developing marketing material and the layout of client proposals.

 

Most recently, Mr. McNamara designed both digital and print assets for 12 media publications distributed by Private Equity International (PEI). For the past 2 years, he has developed the marketing material used by PEI to promote global conferences; these include convention videos, webinars, infographics, advertisements, social media messaging, and email alert campaigns.

 

Since graduating in 2012 Mr. McNamara has undertaken freelance projects and when his schedule permits provides the following services: branding, logo design, web design, marketing, event collateral, infographics, web and print advertising, motion graphic animation, illustrations and social media campaigns. He has provided branding for Vitale Woodworks, a custom-made furniture company and graphic design for FunHouse Features, an independent film production company. Past clients include real estate firms, advertising agencies, non-profit organizations, manufacturing companies, and music & entertainment venues.
