IAWatch
A trusted editorial identity.
A connected event experience.
Brand application · Print · Digital

Extending an established compliance brand into the places its audience meets, reads, and connects.
I translated IAWatch’s existing identity into conference campaigns, sponsorship collateral, and digital branding. The aim was a recognizable family of communications, with enough flexibility for individual events and locations.

Visual identity / At a glance
The elements
that connect it.
The original IAWatch Events mark, green and orange palette, and a clear contrast in type weight establish a consistent starting point for the brand’s applications.
Original wordmark

The bold “IA” and lighter “Watch” create contrast within the name. The Events descriptor connects the mark to the conference program.
Typography / Avenir
Clear.
Confident.
Connected.
A lighter voice for
supporting information.
Board pairing: Avenir Heavy for headings and Avenir Light for supporting text.
Color palette
Colors sampled from the original banner artwork.
Layout principles
- 01 / Contrast
- Strong titles lead; lighter supporting text provides context.
- 02 / Alignment
- Shared edges connect titles, event details, and calls to action.
- 03 / Rhythm
- Repeated spacing separates information into readable groups.
A family of applications
One series.
Different destinations.
Shared title treatments and information hierarchy connect the event series. Location photography and individual palettes give each conference a distinct character, while prominent dates and registration messages keep the next step clear.

Print & promotion
Recognizable at
every scale.
The same brand cues carry through a detailed sponsorship overview and a concise event graphic. Each layout responds to its content while staying connected to the wider conference program.
Digital application
From the page
to the screen.
The green palette and event mark extend into the mobile sign-in presentation, creating a visual connection between the event communications and the digital brand experience.

The contribution
A consistent
visual language.
My work covered typography, layout, image selection, and adaptation across the selected print and digital applications.
The result is a connected presentation of IAWatch’s established identity, balancing editorial familiarity with the practical demands of conference promotion.
